THE STATE of HAWAI‘I's ENERGY

Hawai‘i has the highest household electricity price in the nation. Yet fewer than 25% of homes have solar power.  Here’s how our nonprofit is making a difference.

 

HOW IT WORKS

  • We fundraise to offer solar panel installation and ownership at no cost to local families

  • We award households spending the highest percentage of income on electricity bill

  • We partner with local solar engineers to maximize benefits to our communities and economy

  • We install solar systems that yield monthly savings on electricity bills.
